Online Sensei
Online Sensei provides high quality English practice activities to assist Japanese students to consolidate basic English skills. The activities, which include more than 2,500 sound files, are based on the junior high school curriculum, but are suitable for a wide age group.
Language Activities, Games and Tests
Activities are based on specific vocabulary and grammar used in textbooks approved by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Practice for senior high school entrance and Eiken tests, and get immediate feedback. All activities are self-marking for independent learning.
Articles
You can read about your favorite movie, pop and sports stars, and people in the news - in English. Articles are written using simplified vocabulary, with mouse-over definitions in Japanese for the difficult words.
Photo and Sound Gallery
A photo and sound gallery enables you to see and hear sentences in simple English. You learn new vocabulary and improve your reading and listening skills while finding out about another culture. You meet real people, and visit a real New Zealand community.
