マイケル・ジャクソン 12/07/09 Michael Jackson was famous around the world for four decades as a talented singer, dancer and songwriter. He was born on 29 August, 1958 in Chicago. He was the seventh of nine children in the Jackson family. He made his debut as a singer in 1964 with his brothers. They were called the Jackson 5. He began a solo career in 1971, and was so successful that he became known as the King of Pop. His 1982 album 'Thriller' is the best selling album of all time. He wrote many songs, and also became famous for creating dance moves, such as the moonwalk and the robot. Many aspects of his life were controversial, such as the plastic surgery on his nose and whitening of his skin. Michael Jackson raised more than 300 million dollars for charities. He also co-wrote the charity single, 'We are the World' with Lionel Ritchie. It became one of the best-selling singles of all time, and made millions of dollars for poor people in Africa. He was married twice, the first time for two years to Elvis Presley's daughter, Lisa-Marie Presley, and the second time to a nurse called Debbie Rowe. He had three children, Prince Michael, Paris and Prince Michael II (Blanket). He died suddenly on June 25 at the age of 50. People from many countries mourned his death and many famous people went to his funeral. His daughter said, "Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine...I just wanted to say I love him so much." Michael Jackson will always be remembered .
